Ok… it’s 3am New Years Day – just got home from three New Year’s Eve shows – one at 4, another at 7, and the final performance to bring in the new year with a 4pc. back-up band from 9-1. The adrenaline still flows thru my used-up body and soul here in the wee hours.
It’s been a stellar year, for sure. Probably the best show biz year on record for this long-time pro entertainer. Starting with 100s of senior shows from Seattle to Sacramento, several Columbia River cruise appearances, and, our first two “COOLEY Sings Elton John” shows. (My first musical hero) ‘Next one is Jan. 26th at Cameo Café.
The coolest thing that happened this year is that Hi-School Pharmacy sponsored the COOLEY Show performance at Vancouver’s Tree Lighting event, day after thanksgiving.
The band brought a nice vibe to the annual event and a 2019 return is in the works.
I want to thank my publicist, Jeff Alan, who (besides keeping COOLEY Show in the news) helps me get thru the ups and downs of the entertainment business. And, thank you to Deb Newman, my social media manager. She is the most positive person I know! And a big shout out to the guys helping with the “COOLEY Sings Elton John” show and all the cats that have backed my shows thru the year.
And, finally, a big THANK YOU to all the music lovers who have come out to see my shows. Happy New Year – have a great 2019 !
